Yes. We are very thorough and have moved hundreds of people from outside Cornwall to many destinations in Cornwall, such as Truro, Falmouth, Penzance, Camborne and Redruth. Our expertise and local knowledge is invaluable in places such as Feock, Newlyn, St Ives where access can be very challenging.
Yes we do, we carry out most of our moves to and from France and Spain. However we have carried out moves to Portugal, Italy, Sweden, Germany and many more destinations all over Europe.
Yes, we can arrange this for you.
We move everything from standard uprights to full concert grand pianos. We’ll need to know the value of the piano, and whether it has a highly polished finish. It’s also useful for us to have a description of the access at both properties; for instance, which floor of the building it’s coming from and going to, and whether there are any steps or sharp turns involved.
No, but they can be too heavy. Please ensure boxes are not over 22kg or 45lbs.
Yes – it is not appropriate to pack all your items in shoe boxes, for instance, as this would take multiple trips and far more time.
We do sell packing materials to clients that are not moving with us.
We wrap all items in blankets and use mattress covers, settee covers and piano covers. Some delicate items of furniture may require special care, and we advise that these items are ‘export wrapped’ to ensure they are protected appropriately.
When your items are delivered, labelled boxes will placed in the correct room. You will be asked where you would like unlabelled items to be placed.
We do move single items, or small loads.
We’re happy to do this with notice (and subject to our availability). We’ll need you to insure our driver and provide a cover note stating that they are not liable for any excess on the insurance.
Yes, (non fragile) items, using bags that will not split easily.
